Red Herring 100 Global Award

KeyLemon has been selected as a finalist for Red Herring's Global 100 Award, a prestigious list honoring the year's most promising private technology ventures from around the world.

Microsoft BizSpark Award

KeyLemon is officially partner of the Microsoft BizSpark program and got the BizSpark Award.

Microsoft BizSpark is a global program designed to accelerate the success of early stage Startups. BizSpark provides software, support and visibility to Startups:

BizSpark provides entrepreneurs fast and easy access to current full-featured Microsoft development tools and productions licenses of server products, with no upfront costs and minimal requirement

Community-driven support (guidance, resources and mentoring) by Network Partners, active members of the global software ecosystem who are qualified to provide support and advice to Startups. However, professional Support from Microsoft is provided as well, such as unlimited email support, online training and invitations to local technical events for entrepreneurs working with early adopter technologies, like Windows 7, Silverlight, Azure and SQL Server 2008.

Each BizSpark Startup will have the opportunity to profile their organization in the BizSparkDB, an online Startup directory, hosted on the Microsoft StartupZone web site. Startups will get exposure to potential investors, partners and customers around the world.

VentureKick Award

Venture kick is an initiative of private investors and is regulated by the Fondation des Fondateurs. As an umbrella foundation, this is regulated by the Swiss Federal Supervisory Board of Foundations.

With Beat Schillig and Jordi Montserrat, venture kick has an experienced management team which is responsible for the operative management.

Qualified and competent specialists who make up the jury in different combinations are responsible for judging the projects in the course of the competition.

The strategy council defines the medium- and long-term goals and direction of venture kick. Igor Fisch (Selexis SA), Roger Schmid (ERNST GÖHNER STIFTUNG), Pascale Vonmont (GEBERT RÜF STIFTUNG) and Evelyn S. Braun (AVINA Stiftung) make up the strategy council.

Three foundations supported venture kick in the pilot phase: The GEBERT RÜF STIFTUNG, the ERNST GÖHNER STIFTUNG, the OPO-STIFTUNG and the AVINA STIFTUNG.

Lift Asia Award

Lift Asia has invited KeyLemon to present their Company in Jeju, Korea.

Lift will explore the most overlooked aspect of innovation: people. Known in techno-parlance as users, consumers, clients, participants, prosumers, citizens or activists, people ultimately define the success of all technological and entrepreneurial projects. They adopt or refute, promote or demote; embrace, reject, or re-purpose. Their approaches are unique, influenced by cultural and generational diversity. A decade after the rebirth of user-centered design and innovation, it is time to explore the myths and uncover the reality behind the "connected people".

European Investor Summit Award

KeyLemon was selected by the European Investor Summit as best company presentation.

This past 13 May 2009, Microsoft hosted the 6th Annual European Investor Summit in Prague, organized in conjunction with the EU SME Week. Entrepreneurs from across Europe had the occasion to present and grow their business by facilitating contacts to an experienced and international network of venture capital and corporate investors, strategic partners, expert advisers and senior Microsoft executives

The event fostered investment and partnership opportunities by bringing start-up companies together with finance and investment communities while highlighting their business potential. The forum showcased 15 presenting companies, for the most part stemming from the Bizspark initiative, and five student teams from Imagine Cup who presented before panels of investors

The conference program aimed at discussing how to better connect within the European Innovation ecosystem, and how to access capital at various levels on the 'ladder of finance'. It certainly provided for an outstanding networking opportunity for both entrepreneurs and other people in the industry.
