KeyLemon is proud to be spent on CBS in a report called ‘Software Replaces Computer Password With Face Scan’. Nowadays, we have a lot of passwords and it’s very hard to remember all of them. Don’t worry, there is a tool which can help you. Before, we could use our finger to log in and now KeyLemon offers a new solution based on face recogntion. It’s a 20$ software but this is not a million dollars software of the NSA. You can find the video here

Unfortunately CBS Reporter Mike Sugarman couldn’t login with KeyLemon because he wasn’t really in front of the webcam and the face tracking (the yellow rectangle) could not find him. Thus, the recognition can not start.
Moreover, when you create your face model, it will be optimized for the current conditions (luminosity, position or background).
The face recognition can fail if there is too many differences between the face model and the current conditions. This could happen when the sun’s light is changing or if you’re moving with your laptop. To prevent this, the face model is able to learn from this new conditions by doing a face model adaptation.
