Error even without Skype or MSN

OK - I realize I might get an error when trying to do somethings but I turned off Video on Skype, exited my MSN account and now only have Firefox and FeedDemon running.

When I lock the screen, I get a Microsoft Office (I'm running 2007) has crashed and do I want to restart it in FRONT of the Bananascreen login.

It DOES recognize my face correctly but it's not handling the 2007 issue cleanly.

Any ideas?

I was running Windows Media Player - when I closed it down, the error did seem to go away but still this is not ideal.

nope - sorry - it did seem to go away but then it came back.

I just checked mine with Word then Excel 2007 with no error messages. Have you checked to see if your webcam is running elsewhere, like as part of your webcam center because that is what sometimes stops mine.

AndrewM, can you just give us the web cam model you have ? And did you install webcam utilities ?
